Tap at the brewpub. Rating #22. Dark black with a tan head. Hoppy aroma, light roast and a real nice beer. (1776) That1Guy (2237) - Colorado, USA - JUN 21, 2011
Crushed at GABF ’10. Love the name for sure. Always interested to try hopped-up imperial stouts. Either they come out like Darkness or Night Stalker, or they come out like this. A decent brew, to be sure, but it could have been better. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 11, 2011
(Draught) Pours a black body with a medium tan head. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, pine, and roasted grain. Flavor of roasted malt, caramel, nuts, light pine, and chocolate with a dry finish. Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - DEC 27, 2010
GABF 2010. Pours a deep rich oily black with big tan head. Aroma is big nutty chocolate, fresh roasted barley with big pine and minty green hops cent and columbus like. Flavor is more dank weedy hops, green minty , pine resin, dark oily citrus on nice full nutty chocolate malts, and a sharp prickly roasted barley backbone with medium sweetness overall- good tacky raw hoppy finish. Nice! nickd717 (4886) - San Francisco, California, USA - DEC 21, 2010
GABF 2010 - just getting around to uploading this tick. The color is darkest brown, and a one-finger tan head sits on top and leaves good lacing. The aroma is pretty nice, roasty and hoppy with slight chocolate notes. The hops are of the citrus and pine variety. The flavor also has chocolate, roasted malt, slight caramel, and a SoCal-esque citrus, pine, and resin hop profile. Medium-full bodied and smooth with average carbonation. A nice reference to "Pulp Fiction" and a nice beer overall.

GABF 2010, great name average beer. dark pour, citrusy hops, roasted malts. it was kind of spritzy, high carbonation. medium mouthfeel. Not up to the very high standard that they have set for themselves 3fourths (9358) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 1, 2010
draft. inky nose with light malted milk balls w/ medium soy/roast astringency. syrupy and thick, but that’s expected. medium+ roast, medium bitterness, mild alcohol. horribly underattenuated. syrupy, cloying, messy. tokyogoat (1503) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 16, 2010
A decent offering, well worth the money and i’d possibly get it again. Just didn’t knock my socks off. a little boring and not a lot to remember. stnadard RIS papajohn (1340) - San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA - JUN 27, 2010
