Draft in San Clemente. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a lovely hop note lending the beer grass and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet again with a nice and very fresh hoppy note of grass, grapefruit, pine needles, and spices. Great. kathouse (1930) - LAS VEGAS, Nevada, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Citrus and caramel aroma is well balanced. Amber with a pretty foam. Body is also balanced with a sweet malt character and smooth hop finish. Very nice. thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Tap in San Clemente. Pours a clear golden to brown not much head. Aroma is earthy and slightly pine forward. Taste is again earthy wet soil and some sweet toffee with loads of piny hop and a bitter finish. Not my favorite dips from San Clemente PP but very much in line with the house hoppy beers here. anders37 (26878) - Malmö, SWEDEN - AUG 8, 2012
Draft @ Pizza Port San Clemente. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity piney hoppy grapefruit aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter piney flavor. Has a fruity malty piney hoppy bitter grapefruit finish. mcberko (18573) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 22, 2012
On tap at Saraveza’s IIPA Fest, pours a hazy golden / copper with a small white head. Aroma of pungent resinous hops, caramel malt sweetness and some peach-like fruitiness. Flavour of piney and resinous hops, barely enough caramel malt sweetness to back. Very bitter and dry. Shitloads of depth - this is just a hop-barrage. Delicious.

Draft at San Clemente. Pours orange with thin head. Good floral hop aroma. Taste is light citrus hops. Another disappointment for PP IPA’s. dnstone (3485) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - MAR 24, 2012
Fresh hoppy aroma. Golden -amber in color with nice head. Quite strong citrus-grapefruity hop dominance in the flavor. A great IPA.

On tap @ Toronado SD: Poured a glowing golden blonde with a thick layer of film for a head. The aroma is dominated with a full aroma of west coast citrus hops. The flavor is overbearing with big fat bite of hops that give off a strong taste of grapefruit and citrus notes that finishes metallic. A true example of what a double IPA should turn out to be. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 17, 2011

Nice clear deep amber color. Thin layer of white bubbles. Somewhat subdued hop nose. Nice flavor, not too sweet as some DIPA’s tend to be.
