On nitro tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad, pours black with a small creamy beige head. Aroma brings out loads of oats, light roast and more oats. Flavour brings out very creamy oats and chocolate. Super smooth and creamy palate. Delicious stuff. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - AUG 6, 2013
On tap at brewery. Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Good roasted grain and chocolate aroma and taste with caramel notes and a syrupy finish. Silky but thin palate. elihapa (1554) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - JUL 16, 2013
7/10/13 notes: Mellow, nutty, toasted notes emphasized. Not too much oats, a bit simple. As others have noted, the nitro might be washing things out. Light body for the abv. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 9, 2013
Nitro tap at PPC. Thick and creamy nitro head atop clear brown. Nose is muted lemon. Taste brings malted milk balls, although overall bland. Thicker body, no bitterness. Mild spice and dairy....thick and creamy. Perfect 360 lacing but on nitro. Not much going on here as with the other stouts on tap today. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Beautiful cascading nitro pour. Black beer with a thick khaki head. Roasted malt, licorice, coffee, and cocoa powder. Some hints of dark fruit and earthy hops. Somewhat bitter flavor of roasted malt, cocoa powder, and coffee. Lightly sweet from licorice and dark fruit. Earthy hop finish.

Nitro draft at PP Carlsbad. Very dark brown, near black, with a tan nitro head. Smooth milk chocolate, oat creaminess, mild roast, notes of coffee, and light hop bitterness. Nothing special really, but this is decent. The nitro mutes out the flavors though.
