(Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a moderate white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, and orange. Flavor of hops (pine, floral, light citrus) and caramel malt, Nice bitterness and balance. jimbowood (1036) - Freeport, Georgia, USA - OCT 15, 2007
GABF 2007. An excellent IIPA, but what else would you expect from PP? Best IIPA aroma @ the fest. Resiny hop flavor. MIBRomeo (2570) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 14, 2007
Straw colored pour thick white well laced head. Singular piney aroma first followed by a citrus and fresh hop flowers.. faily simple. Avg pal. Dry bitter flavor grass w/ a bit of caramel. Pretty boring. bikesandbeers (547) - san diego, California, USA - SEP 8, 2007
On Tap @ Pizza Port, Solana Beach. pour a light orange-brownish with a finger of white head. Swetish aroma with citrus hop notes. a solid malt backing with tons fo good hop flavor. a little bit more earthy than hop 15. some nice spicyness adds to the complexion. a very lovely beer. not as crisp as Hop 15 but still very very drinkable.

My favorite on tap at Port Solana. Straight up, If I were walking down death row to the electric chair, my last request would be a pitcher of Lou P Lin and a Roma (PP’s take on the supreme pizza).
Hop character is in your face and all citrus (esp grapefruit). Malty, but not in the way of the hops. It’s really a hop lover’s dream beer. footy (345) - scottsdale, Arizona, USA - FEB 24, 2007
Tap Solano Beach. 4/06. Hazy golden with mod white head. Very pleasant citrus aroma with a very refreshing citrus/grapefruit taste. Had side by side with Hop 15 tap. Not as complex and with much less malt backbone as Hop 15. Still and excellent beer. I love refreshing beers. Tmoney99 (14622) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 16, 2007
Draft at Downtown Johnny Browns. Poured hazy copper color with an average rocky off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Heavy sour citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Heavy smooth balanced flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. This is a standout beer. DYCSoccer17 (3703) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 15, 2007
4 ounce sample on tap at Bistro’s IIPA Festival. This was the first beer I sampled all day. Sweaty, hempy, orangey hops in the nose. Lightly sweet and very aromatic hop aroma. Nice. Transparent light copper-golden color with a large frothy off-yellow head. Great lacing, but a little light in color for an IIPA. The head and lacing is what prevents this from being a 3 in appearance. Creamy, orangey, hempy hoppiness to start, which then becomes very malty and lightly sweet. Middle is nice and chewy on this beer. Finishes pretty dry and bitter with more grapefruit hops. Very well-balanced. Nice, smooth, hoppy IIPA with no ethanol presence. Really solid and enjoyable.
