Served on tap at Port OB. The appearance is a nice golden hue with a small white head. Great flavors and aromas of crisp citrus fruits, grapefruit, kumquat, a touch of resins and nice malty backing. Nice mild side of West Coast bitterness. Moderately creamy and perfectly carbonated mouth. Incredibly drinkable and delicious DIPA. Hope to get a few more of these before it’s gone.

Pours a crystal clear golden color with white head continuously being fed by the carbonation bubbles migrating from the bottom. Light, lemony notes on the bouquet. Soft, cottony mouthfeel with a little more of an alcohol presence than it’s sibling, Get Wet. Lemon esters at the start and through the middle, but finishes with bitter grapefruit citrus.

On tap at the brewpub many months ago. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a white head. Aromas are big time tangerine, orange, citrus, grapefruit. Some high cohumulone spiciness. All hops. Flavors are dank, citrus, tangerine. Dry, medium bitter with an overall bitter balance and a nice zestiness. Lively bubbles, dry and warming. Solid West Coast offering.

Clear amber color with white head. pale malt, pine sap, floral hop aromas. Solid pale malt base brew with pine, floral hoppage--good

Slightly hazed orange pour with a white head. Sweet malt aroma of toffee, caramel, and fruit. Notes of peach, tangerine, orange, and a hint of grapefruit. Light floral and pine aromas, too. The flavor is sweet and a bit bland. Some citrus and pine bitterness, light sweetness of peach and pineapple, and a fair amount of caramel.

[on tap at OB Pizza Port] Sweet caramel aroma with some fresh pineapple gummi bear hops and other tropical accents. Copper and clear under a lacy white cover. Almost soapy fresh hops flavour with pineapple gummi bears leading into a potent bitterness that is a touch astringent. Full body, moderate to medium carbonation.

Growler shared by Alex (Masterski) at his B-Day bash at Pipeworks. Served in a New Glarus tasting glass. A: Pours a clear and yellowed amber color with thick and frothy pure white head. It has some great stick and a thick cap and collar that follows me down the glass. S: Pears, candied berries, some melon and nice flowery hops. Grapefruit and a sweet malt body make the majority of the nose, but it’s nice and there isn’t any detectable booze. T: The booze is slightly there in the taste, but it has some of the great notes from the nose. Candied pears and grapefruit with some floral hop notes. Mild grass and some piney bitterness in the finish. Sweet bready malts compliment each sip. M: Slightly oily, but surprisingly light for how big the beer is. There is nice carbonation level as well. O: This was definitely a hit. Nice and refreshing for how big the beer is and the hop profile hit a wide spectrum. A must try. Serving type: growler Reviewed on: 06-10-2012

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2012 From notes a few days ago. Tap at PP OC. Clear medium amber with a one finger eggshell head, creamy with decent retention. Aroma has plenty of dry hopped goodness as well as dominant floral hops, which I thought were Centennial. Light sweet malts behind along with citrus hops. Flavor follows suit, nice dry hopped character again with florals. Dry finish, earthy bitterness peaked at a 6-7, some alcohol warmth noted. Medium full body with lowish carbonation. Pretty tasty--maybe I can snag a growler tonight.

Draught Copper-golden beer with small white rim. Again very dry hops, hopbales, fruity. Bit of ureum; again this very dry hopbales flavour, and a fruity finish. However, the hopcharacter is not really invigorating the beer. Astringency, dry tart, on the edge of sour, and yet coming as nearly neutral. Strange, this brewery seems stronger in the dark beer styles than in the ur-Californian IIPA...
