Pale golden of color with a white head. An aroma of hops, citrus, dry and no sweets. A flavor of malt, hops, grapefruit and dry. bwa5879 (940) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JAN 21, 2015
Pretty cloudy straw yellow with an eighth inch of white head and a moderate amount of bubbles rising. Lively carbonation, velvety mouthfeel, dry finish. Grassy and milky scent, a little piney hops? Hard to tell, points off for how light it is. Taste is much better: pert juicy grapefruit, nutty malts, pine, a bit of guava, kind of salty. deyholla (11503) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 25, 2014
On tap at Three Floyds. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has earthy citrus with some light pine and grass as well as a grain backing. Flavor is a bit more dank with grass, earthy citrus, grapefruit and an earthy grain backbone. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Draft on tap at Three Floyds (Munster, IN). Pours a richer amber orange hue, gentle haze dies to a more transparent body. Frothy offwhite head sits atop and laces ok. Aromas are potent with fresh citrusy hops, grapefruit, melon and florals with touches of bread, straw. Firm florals and bitter hops. Fresh, vibrant, citric with nice alpha bitterness. Lovely. Initial is dry, bitter, rich hop elements with bready malts, melon, soap and rind elements. Richly bitter, citric, with nice rich potent hops. Gentle bready, touches of straw, sopap and rind elements. Touches of melon, straw. Quite lovely, potent, and fruity. Dry, richly bitter, quite drinkable. Nice stuff, fresh and lively with potent hop elements. Ontape (471) - Valley Village, California, USA - APR 6, 2014
On tap at PPSC. Classic AIPA. Simcoe, Amarillo, Cascade or something along those lines. Very clean and balanced. Hops present but not in your face. An IPA anyone could drink but one hopheads should still enjoy. Remember, you can session at 7% if you pace yourself. This isn’t a revelation but it’s frickin’ good. Their cans let me down but the three beers I’ve had on site have all been very good.

@Port SC. Clear golden color with white head. Spicy, citrusy, woody hop aromas. Light mouthfeel. Same spicy, pine hoppy flavors with light, drying pale malt base__drying finish__tasty IPA. Gription79 (2886) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - DEC 7, 2013
Had on draft at San Clemente brewery. Citrus, pine, soft malts, big hops, balanced bitterness. SDalkoholic (2377) - Linda Vista, California, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Growler fill from Pizza Port San Clemente: Liquid appeared golden bronze with slight tint of sediment while creating a thick fluffy pillow cap of foam. Aroma is dominated by green oily hop pellets that brings on scents of grapefruit and orange peel but is then is followed up by a subtle whiff of bready malts. One of the more hearty IPA’s my nose has come across in the last few months. The drink is bitter which also activates my salty taste buds; however, the flavor of this beer doesn’t live up to the floral aroma I picked up on earlier and has a salty taste of sweat with a funky taste of grapefruit peels. Almost a stinky cheese taste but that same familiar funky gym socks taste that occasionally occurs in hoppy beers. peteinSD (1469) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 7, 2013
Tap @ PP San Clemente. Somewhat hazy golden pour. Aroma is pine, bitterness, slight citrus, and a grainy malt character. Taste sharp pine and heavy bitterness with a clean, lightly bready malt backbone. Nice bitter IPA. elihapa (1552) - Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - JAN 2, 2013
Straw gold color, great lacing. Aroma of pith, juicy, tangerine. Flavor is more citrus, perfume flowers, with strong bitter kick. Excellent as usual, a bit more pithy/metallic than I would ideally like. 3.8.
