Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours a clear orange with a smaller, off-white head. Excellent sheety lacework. Nose brings herbal and squashy noble hop character with some fruity, melony NZ like hops. Taste is fruit juicy, melon flesh, jackfruit, butternut squash. Quenching and juicy. No apparent bitterness, no cheese, no nut skin astringency. Solid stuff. Weird English hop flavors I’m not used to in IPAs/APAs. Very good nevertheless. daniele (9219) - ITALY - JAN 7, 2013
