Keg at CPK, London. Pours oily, black-brown with a fine, beige cream head. Aroma is all kinds of dark cocoa, moderate roast, some alcohol. Nice flavor, robust but not overbearing, with lots of dusty roast and rich baking cocoa, light earth and dirt. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with more baking cocoa, faint dark fruits and earthy bitterness, touches of raisins and light booze. Very nice Impy Stout. hallinghansen (3418) - Odense SV, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2012

Black with a creamy light brown head.
Aroma: freshly ground coffee beans, chocolate.
Taste: milk chocolate, sweet licorice, light rubber, some coffee, citrus fruits. Alcohol is nowhere to be found. Finishes in a light grapefruit bitterness.
Not very complex, this is all about balance, and just very tasty. gnoff (10985) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 11, 2012
Draught at Ölrepubliken, on July 10, 2012evergreen0199 (3492) - Northwood, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 9, 2012
Black color, brown head. Malty, sweet, caramel taste. Alcohol bite and caramel aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Sweet, malty, hoppy scent.
Keg at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Rich, boozy, roasty aroma. Tastes similar, rich, slight sweetness, some coffee and chocolate, roasty. Decent stout but doesnt compare to the beautiful coffee monster that I consumed before this. ben4321 (6735) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 6, 2012
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2012 Kronebryg (1123) - Sorgenfri, DENMARK - MAY 21, 2012
Location: Guest tap at the Maui Brewpub, 7/6/12
Aroma: The aroma is coffee, chocolate, booze, and some burnt malts
Appearance: This one has a dark brown pour, with a brown head, and average lace-work
Flavor: The taste is heavy malts and booze, and is quite similar to nose component-wise
Palate: The body is fairly full, it is heavy boozy, and it ends with a dry and hot finish
Interesting, boozy Impy. Stout. This was certainly a nice one to see on guest tap, since we don’t get much Pizza Port stuff on the East Coast, but their beers that I have tried are usually pretty enjoyable.
Some creamy cappucini head, black. Light coffee/cream nose . light bitter chocko. seems unevolved. Some body and lengthg. Soft with some fruit, bitter chocko and a bit simple. To young? Otherwise its a nice beer.
