Cho-Saiko is radical in Japanese surf slang. This is OB’s house Double IPA. Cho-Saiko is brewed year round as long as there is fermentation space. It is a big beer with big hop character. Dry hopped with five different hops to add to the hop experience. 1.082 SG 1.010 FG

From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours hazy orange with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is pinewood hoppy, peachy and grapefruity. Bitter, fruity and pinewood hoppy. Mild citrusy. Bone dry and bitter.

Draft. A hazy red beer with a creamy off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of hops lending it notes of grass. The flavor is very sweet and very spicy - cinnamon and cloves are readily picked up, combined with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a dry and very bitter finish.

On tap @ Toronado San Diego. Clear amber pour with a white head. Big time pine and grapefruit on the nose. A lot of sweet tropical fruit and apricot. Plenty of caramel, too. Flavor is kind of goopy and sweet. Lots of grapefruit, peach, apricot, and orange marmalade. Kinda sweet but an intense bitterness on the back end.

Pours amber golden with a light hazy touch and a fine, staying, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma is lovely, good hops with notes of oranges, grapefruit, a bit of cellar, piney. Medium carbonation, a very nice dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is great as well, lots of hops, grapefruit, red apples, mild bitterness. Long, lingering dryness with medium bitterness. Lightly vinious. Very well-balanced.
