On tap at PP Solana beach. Yellow color. Nice banana hefe yeast aromas. Low bitterness. Easy to drink. Excellent. I love here’s.

Draft. Pours hazed golden orange with a white head. Sweet banana and orange, some lighter wheat, a little sweetness, and a bright fruity and pleasant finish. Good stuff.

draft at brewery, hell yea. Regular solid balanced hefeweizen. Well made and easy for everything. Gotta have it!

TimE (6275) - Tokyo, JAPAN - JAN 25, 2015
hazy golden white. Nice clovey and banana character with a fair amount of phenols. Dry and a bit too harsh two row grain finish, but not bad.

Draught at Pizza Port Ocean Beach, San Diego. Somewhat hay deep golden beer with a lasting offwhite head. Malty caramel aroma, wheat, citrus, spicy notes. Malty banana aroma, wheat, hay, caramel, spicy notes. Ok but a bit dull.

Hazy gold pour at GABF, white head. Up front banana, apples, pears, wheat, yeast. Clean and has a nice mouthfeel.

Tap at Ocean Beach. Pours a full haze golden, spotty foam. Nose is banana, estery, pear, sugar cube, vanilla. Taste is cidery, loads of banana and pear. Comes across as a bit medicinal, cidery. Decent.

yespr (48954) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2012
From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is estery and light fruity. Mild banana and esters. Light sweet into a yeasty and estery finish.

ghawener (1615) - Santa Tecla, EL SALVADOR - JUL 16, 2012
Draft: Thin, lacks the characteristic bread-dough, vanilla, banana flavors. Food Pairing: Pizza Carlsbard.

Tap PP OB. Pretty hazy med orange with a small creamy white head. A decent head does rouse. Lots of banana in the nose with wheat and mild clove, tinge of sulfur and earth. Flavor follows, a little less banana, thankfully. More earthy and a bit toastier than I last remember. Pretty low in sweetness, dry crisp wheat finish, scant bitterness. Moderate carbonation with a light to medium body. Not my favorite US made German hefe, but still solid enough

BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JUL 31, 2011
Tap. Pours with a hazed golden-orange body and a white head. Aromas of banana, vanilla, grainy, perfume, clove, slightly husky and bready. Flavors feature vanilla and clove over the banana, but those esters and phenols are all strong. A slight hint of a smokey chlorophenol slightly detracts. Dry, bready, grainy, slightly full wheaty mouthfeel. Lively bubbles. Medium bodied to even slightly full for the style.
