3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served on tap at Port OB. The appearance is a golden hue with a slight chill haze. Nice white head. The nose has a nice medium hop profile with citrus and some florals. The flavors are citrus with a touch of grass with a great malty finish and after taste. The malts are a dusty brown variety. Well carbed mouth without too much bitterness. Great APA.
@PP Carlsbad. Clear amber color with white head. Floral, spicy hop aromas with pale malts. medium body with average co2. Hoppy citrusy tropical fruit flavors with a solid pale malt base--good APA brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - DEC 10, 2012
Pours an orange color with a white head. Floral and pine hop aromas on top of a toasted bread malt base. A decent amount of citrus peel, a bit of pine, and sweetness. Tastes of citrus peel, floral hops, and a touch of pine. Light bitterness, some malty sweetness, and plenty of toast. Good bread and just a hint of grass. arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - SEP 22, 2012

On tap at the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Pour is golden in appearance with a frothy white head. Floral, soap, citrus, and biscuit in the aroma, but somewhat faint. Taste is soapy, floral, bready, and biscuit with a medium bitter finish. Light body with high carbonation. Ok, but nothing special about it. dbarnold (1127) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - AUG 14, 2012
I was very impressed by this one. It was a pale ale dry hopped to high heaven! Moderate and refreshing body that’s hugely aromatic, piney, resinous, and very bitter and very refreshing. Exactly what I thought beer from the west cost would and should taste like. yespr (47102) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2012
From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy and mild grapefruity. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Light peachy. Bitter and light sweet fruity impression. Smooth lingering hoppy into the far finish. iowaherkeye (2703) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - JUL 18, 2012
Tap at the brewpub, just tapped today. Clear light amber with a small white head, and creamy with fair retention. Aroma has plenty of dry biscuity malt with some floral and sweaty Cascades behind, not really any sweetness. Flavor follows suit, not crazy hoppy but with a nice soft malt biscuit sweetness. Finishes semi-dry, bitterness peaked at a 4ish. Soft light to moderate carbonation with a medium body. Nice easy drinking APA, surprised it’s 5.8 percent. 7-4-8-4-14--3.7
