Growler pour at DLD from Kan. Thanks! Okay, I have to admit I wasn’t fair to this one. I was drinking fresh Zombie Dust side by side with this. There was a breadiness about the aromatics and some softer hop character, almost tending towards German hops with light citrus components. Lacking the bright tropical fruit notes typical of Citra. On taste, a pleasing and balanced bitterness and a refreshing hop character. Malt body is really nice, perhaps overwhelms the hop flavor somewhat. A good beer, just wasn’t fair to have it side by side with Zombie Dust, that’s all. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 11, 2011
Pizza port ball and chain. growler thanks to my man tim..... Pours a medium copper penny transaprent orangey brownpour
with a thin to medium just off-white head... Aroma of crisp citrusy
and dankness all for the very hop forwardness for a an american
pale..... Flavors are much of the same with an emphasis on west coast
tropical fruitiness, not as much as th aroma suggests, but nice
nonetheless. Small bready malt backbone to coincide with the aforementione. Small to medium bodied with adequate carbonation.
Tasteful and light between all the heavy hitters. keepersj12 (3117) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - SEP 18, 2010
Very light and crisp. Citrus in the flavor and aroma. A bit of malt sweetness but mostly the lemony feel. Quite clean and refreshing. This would be great at a wedding, light, crisp and clean. bluevegie (3073) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - MAY 7, 2011
Tried as a sampler at the Monk. This one was the fourth on the tray and it was good and would have been better earlier in the tasting. Citra stands out and enjoying this more and more. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - JAN 30, 2011
From the tap poured a straw color with a fair amount of head. Nice citrus hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

Growler shared by Kan at DLD11. Thanks man! Golden yellow with a white head. Citrus and grains in the aroma. Light malts sweet citrus flavors. Some dry bitterness. The aroma is better than the flavor but good overall. 8/3/7/3/15

Pours a light yellow orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus malt and hops. Flavor is loads of citrus lemon grapefruit peel. Light bodied full of flavor and easy to drink. danielcurtis81 (1519) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 29, 2010
Served on tap at Port OB. The appearance is an ever so slightly hazy gold with a small white head. The nose and aromas are really nice. A nice load of lemon peel, other citrus, a nice mild hop bite with a solid malty backing. A nice refreshing pale ale for the summer months.
I clicked through a little fast and this should be a Pale Ale, I already sent in for a correction. tokyogoat (1503) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 13, 2010
Big hop nose, loads of citrus and lime zest. Not a fan of Citra hops, but this is the most well done I have tried. Super drinkable, tons of hop flavor, not too bitter or harsh, truly a great sessionable beer. doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 1, 2010
Pours clearish light orange with a small white head that leaves specks of lace. Smells subdued hoppy, citrus with a hint of sweetness. Tastes light and hoppy citrusy with a nice balance of sweet, caramel, cereal malts. Medium body, good carbonation.

On-tap at PPSB. Pours clearish yellow/orange with a medium sized white head, spider web lace. Smells bright, citrusy hoppy with a mellow, earthy malt backbone. Tastes nice and bright hoppy citrusy sweet with a building, slightly metallic, cereal malt profile. Lingering hop notes. Medium body, good carbonation.
