- black beer with a firm and creamy beige foam left; the nose is lactic with notes of chocolate and vanilla; soft carbonation, full-bodied and pretty sweet; some residual sweetness before a long chocolatey, earthy and vanilla finish
Sampled from tap at ’Craft Beer Corner’. Clear, very dark reddish brown to black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla and some coffee. Rather sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of milk chocolate, coffee, praline, hazelnut and some vanilla, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice! Koelschtrinker (20223) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - DEC 18, 2016
Vollmundiger, relativ süßer Antrunk. Dunkle Noten von Schokolade, weich brotig, geringe Karbonisierung. Süffig, trocken malziger Nachhall, deutlich hopfiger Hintergrund. Gut. 10/9/9/10//9 Cunningham (7860) - Halden, NORWAY - DEC 2, 2016
Appearance: A complete absence of light on the other side of this one. A nice creamy beige head that leaves an ok lacing.
