>> Sparkling golden pour, weak foam. Nose is neutral, honey roll and bread. Taste is sweet, clean biscuit, drinkable, no off flavors. Mild oily body. Mild lactic finish. Honey roll and bread heavy. Simple and well done.
From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is crisp citrusy and light peachy. Fruity, citrusy and mellow malty. Light toasted to cornish touch. Bitter and slight straw note into a medm dry finish, lasting citrusy note. iowaherkeye (2804) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - MAY 11, 2012
Tap at OB. Clear medium amber with a one finger off-white head, down to a clingy ring and film before long. Fruity yeast and peach notes atop a cracker malt base. Flavor is again pretty fruity with a touch of white grapes and honey, same cracker malt base. Never very sweet. Dry finish, minimal bitterness. Moderate creamy carbonation with a light to medium body. Another easy drinker, pretty inoffensive. Bartender said it was right around 5%. Listed at 4.2% and almost definitely a standard bitter. Pours with a clear golden to orange body with a white head. Aromas are bready, estery, nutty, biscuit, pear and a hint of diacetyl. Flavors are bready, lightly minerally, estery, fruity, cracker and seltzer water. Oddly lively and dry for a bitter. Spritzy even.

On tap in OB. Light amber with white head n lace. Nose real light. Taste nice white grape sweetness and light finish. Nice. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 16, 2011
A: The beer pours a clear golden-amber color with a small white head and some mild lacing.
S: Smells English, that’s for sure. Mild in aroma with some bread and grain notes. There might even be a bit of corn in there. Some minimal earthy and floral hop notes to round out what is a mediocre aroma.
T: The flavor relies on the bread malt flavor that dominates it. But wait...is this sour and grassy? I feel like I’m drinking a Magnolia beer all of a sudden. Very, very meh.
M: The body is light with a moderate level of carbonation.
D: The smell was just sort of middle of the road, but the flavor was just bad. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - FEB 11, 2011
On tap at PP. Poured a golden color with a whitish head. Aroma of sweet malt, bread, citrus and maybe honey. Flavorwas sweet, with some bread/biscuit, grass and maye a touch of honey. Good summer beer. jrob21 (3801) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 15, 2010
On tap at carlsbad. More on the pilsner side of the spectrum with a lot of toasty grain and a grassy hop profile. Not my favorite on the day so far but a very drinkable beer and I’m sure it would fare much better in a bit of a warmer environment. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - SEP 18, 2010
Very well done and tasty for such a light beer. Pours light amber and has a nice aroma of citrus. Very nice flavor of malt and hops with a good balance. Very easy to drink and quite refreshing. A very good summer beer.
