Keg at CBC Clerkenwell, London during the Pizza Port tap takeover. Pours clear, bright yellow with a lively, white cream head. Big citrus hop nose, rife with orange and tangerine, light pine, pale malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with dry citrus, lemon, tangerine, pine needles, adequate balancing pale malt sweetness. Light to medium bodied with average, creamy carbonation. Light dry citrus finish, with grapefruit, lemon and tangerine, along with some lovely mango notes. Awesome beer. Stupidly drinkable. madmitch76 (24511) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 27, 2013

Craft Clerkenwell Pizza Port Tap Takeover. Keg. 6.8%. Light haze on this gold beer. Good pale cream coloured head. Palate is airy and a little crisp. Lovely light hops. Touch of skunk, nice mellow fresh grapefruit and tropical fruits. Medium bitterness in the semi dry finish which also shows floral character. Really well integrated.

Tap @ Pizza Port Carlsbad... Poured pale, golden/yellow with a thick white head. Nose had an intense amount of piney, citrus, floral hops. Tasted of hop juice with a hint of malt balance. So much hop flavor but not overly bitter. Fruity with citrus and tropical fruits. Hops in the finish.

Tap sample. Poured clear dark golden color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus hop and earthy aroma. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Medium to full body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Solid brew. Had to rate this as an IPA, even though its classified as a "strong" pale ale... the brewers were probably .5 gram light on the hops to make this a pale ale. But its all IPA. And its a really good one. Pours yellowish gold, with a nice 2 finger head that stays present throughout the drinking experience. Big citrus and tropical fruit aroma that carries through in the taste. Nice balance. Lacing is fantastic. Really strong pine/resin/"grass" notes that definitely make this more IPA than pale ale. Great beer. On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. GMCC2181 (1608) - Newark, Delaware, USA - JAN 24, 2013
Draft at pizza port. Clearish orange color, good head. Good nose... bitter hops, fruity, mango... Taste is fruity mango, piney, juicey, hoppy. Body is light and fluffy...easy breezy. Good brewski! Dogbrick (12936) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 24, 2012
Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head and spotty lacing. Citrus and hops in the nose. Medium body with a moderately bitter citrusy hops character with malt and herbs behind it. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.
