From tap at San Clemente. Pours black with a lacing light tan head. Liqourice and hard roasted malt aroma. Flavour is liqourice at first with a solid roasted malt flavour following. On tap @ O’Brien’s San Diego. Poured a deep chocolate brown with a thin tan head. Nose of Molasses, Caramel

Poured with nitrogen at Pizza Port Carlsbad. I love nitrogen beer. They look and feel great with a nice creamy head. Mild caramel aroma. Deep, dark color, but no roasted grain bitterness. Slightly sweet, A great everyday dinking beer.

dark brown with ruby edges, fine beige head, nice lace, chocolate malt aroma, thin body, sweet chocolate flavor with a hint of licorice, touch of tartness, a bit of roasted and then lots of lasting bitterness kicks in at the end

On cask at Pizza Port. Dark brown with creamy white head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, and alcohol. Light bodied palate with a creamy mouth feel. Rich chocolate and vanilla taste with a roasty finish.
