Draught @ RBESG10 in Brasserie 4:20, Via Portuense 82, Roma, Italy.
Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, heavy hoppy, grapefruit, citrus - orange, peach . Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
From tap at San Clemente. Pours golden orange, clear, and with a lacing white head. Light peach fruity hops aroma. Flavour is solid grapefruit and pineneedle hops flavoured. A slight bit too much with a too vague malt presence to counterbalance this. Ungstrup (37339) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 12, 2008
Dratt at San Clemente. A hazy light golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of grass and hops. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of grass as well as lighter notes of pine needles, leading to a dry bitter finish where notes of both grass and grapefruit lingers. anders37 (26275) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 21, 2013

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2007 Hand bottled, thanks cquiroga! Clear golden. Concentrated hop aroma of sweaty lychees. Sweet with some solid biscuit malt underneath an abundance of perfumy aromatic soapy lychee-like hops. Lingering very bitter finish. The hops are almost assaulting, but in a pleasant way. After some initial hesitation I give in and just love this beer. madmitch76 (24565) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 20, 2010

On tap at CBC Clerkenwell during the Pizza Port Tap Takeover - London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white cream cap. Lots of sweet-smelling citrus in the aroma, sweet bread, orange, mango and light pine. Big sweet flavor with moderate alcohol punch, plus lightly dry grapefruit, orange, some pine. Medium to full in body with fine to average carbonation. Fairly resinous to finish with pale malt sugars, orange, tangerine, melon and grapefruit. Lovely stuff. Ballsy but drinkable. fiulijn (20427) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 11, 2011
RBESG 2010, draught at Brasserie 4:20
Hazy light amber color; generous creamy head. Strong hop aroma, piney hops, resins, good tomato sauce and cheese maccheroni. Smooth mouthfeel; toffee flavor, with some sweetness; strong resiny and creamy hops, strong bitterness. The final is strong and persistent. I would prefer with a fruitier edge, these beers can get hard to swallow in big quantities.
