Dark golden with a small white head. A lot of hops and tropical fruits in this one. Easy to drink and refreshing. Nicely balanced and with a fine bitterness.

Poured on draft intoa miniature pint glass. Appearance is a slightly hazy gold with a nice sized white head. Aroma is sweet and bitter hops. Taste is sweet malts up front with a hop bite at the finish. Nicely carbonated beer and a spritzy mouthfeel. That1Guy (2236) - Colorado, USA - OCT 15, 2011
Crushed at a Pizza Port beer dinner at Lyons Fork. Now that is an IPA. Definitely had seconds of this one. So much citrus, mostly grapefruit, flowing through this lovely beer. Drinkable and packed with flavor. presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 7, 2011
Tap. Amber with a light but heavy froth. Strong delicious aroma of citrusy hops. Flavor that makes it worth venturing through rush hour from LA. Really solid well balanced citrus forward IPA. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 25, 2011
A: This beer is amber in color with about a finger of white head.
S: A nice sweet citrus aroma up front with plenty of pineapple and other tropical fruits. There is just a bit of caramel along with some bread. Strong pine notes on the back end.
T: Somewhat surprisingly, there is sweet toffee up front. But, that is quickly replaced by tropical fruits and pungent grapefruit (and other citrus notes). Overall, sweet fruits are prevalent and there is a mild pine bitterness.
M: Medium in both body and carbonation.
O: Very easy to put down a couple glasses of this stuff. One of Pizza Port SC’s better beers.

Pours dark gold with fluffy 1 finger head and good retention. Aroma is intense green citrus hops, no pine or resin character to speak of, honeylike malt profile. Taste is grapefruit peel, honey, light caramel, long lasting citric aftertaste. Body is medium frothy carbonatoin, creamy mouthfeel, long bitter finish. Overall, highly quaffable, perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. Atom (2458) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 20, 2011
On tap at 3floyds brewpub, pours copper/orange with a small white head. Aroma of resiny pine and citrus. Taste almost has a light creamy texture with pine citrus, bready malt finishing with a nice bitter bite. Simple and crisp highly enjoyable, Strykzone (7364) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - SEP 19, 2011
On tap at Three Floyds. Mostly clear and golden with a one finger white head. A citrusy aroma with some malt. The feel is foamy. Some bitterness from the hops. They are very citrusy. There is a bit of biscuit tasted. The citrus grows with warming. This is good and offers a nice mix of hops. SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - AUG 16, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Clear gold-amber color with a small white head. Big hop aroma of pine, tropical fruit and vanilla. Light malty sweetness in the flavor with some toasted, chewy grain. Bitter and dry finish with lots of grapefruit pith. Nicely balanced and dry hop-bomb. Seemed in the lower alcohol side of IPA, but they didn’t have the amount listed. ChazMania (669) - Oceanside, California, USA - AUG 14, 2011
On tap in San Clemente, first beer in days and it tasted great! Big pungent nose and citrus aroma. Great clear orangey amber color. Taste is classic west coast IPA where bitter and tropical fruit blend together. I filled my growler with the dangerous double thatwas on and I haven’t tried it yet.
