On tap at Beachwood BBQ. Cloudy dark reddish brown pour with a lasting one finger tan head and good lacing. HUGE spice on the aroma with a lot going on, and not so much in a good way. Seems like they emptied the whole spice rack into this one. The flavor is decent in a way with a caramel, roast, and molasses base, but it’s overspiced like all hell with TOO much ginger, cardamom, allspice, nutmeg, or something. UPDATED: APR 1, 2011 thick heavy, very malty, licorice, Lots of nutmeg, Ginger, salt dark cherries. Smooth. Full bodied. Good depth and balance.

On tap at carlsbad. Taster. Decent cinnamon and clover flavors with a little light caramel. Aroma of slight sugar. Finish has a bit of ginger.

Pours cloudy red/brown with a small offwhite head and some lace. Smells sweet and spicy, like pine trees. Tastes of sweet pine cones and spice. Pretty ok. Medium body, vibrant carbonation. A little heavy on the rosemary.
