One of the best Belgian Trippels I have ever tasted. Citrus, sugar and coriander all present but blended perfectly together.

Deliciousness here! Looks lovely in the tulip, rich golden color, foamy white head, lace. Nice belgian yeast, fresh rustic grain, coriander and notes of banana on the nose. Very full and bold on the palate, plenty of sweet breadiness to go around, more banana and spice. Not too sharp on the tongue, lots of flavor, easy to enjoy.

On tap at Stone 1/11/11. Yum yum yum, gimme some! Light golden amber in the glass, with the slightest haze. Thiught it was a bit light in color for Belgian strong. Taste is lovely. Lots of bright citrus and subtle spice. Not overpowering in any sense. Well balanced, sharp and clean. Yummy.

Right away you can smell and taste the Belgian spices. The flavor is a bit on the fruity side. Went down pretty smooth. Overall this is a pretty solid beer, just not amazing.

Damnation, that’s what it is. Tastes just like it. Sampled at Carlsbad bp. Very good.

Lightly cloudy gold pour, white head. Aroma is spices, banana, cloves, yeast and wheat. Flavor is sweet malt, banana, clove, nutmeg and yeast. Damn good.

Growler fill and just poured into my tulip glass. I’m surprised by many low(er) scores for this. Big aroma, really crisp and full with classic belgian esters. Appearance is perfectly clear and golden. Taste is a big amped up golden, great honeysuckle and honeydew mixed with enough sweetness to not be a sugar bomb. Really clean finish and very enjoyable!

On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a hazy deep golden with a large, pillowy white head. Has a semi-sweet, lightly toasty bready Belgian yeasty aroma. Body starts sweet and biscuity with good clove spice and authentic yeast character. Very true to style and reminiscent of Duvel.

Tap @ Blind Lady. Pours golden with a bright white head. Nose is sweet and spiced and appealing. The taste is sweet, spicy, rich with lots of spice, and incredibly drinkable. I liked this a lot!
