17th July 2014, this beer was on my first flight of the day at Pizza Port’s San Clemente place. Poured a pale yellow with a thin white head. Has a malty, yet citrus hoppy aroma. The taste was more leaning towards bitter hoppiness leaving most of the citrus notes in the nose and the maltiness as a forgotten undertone. Liked it. Good body depth and the 5.4% ABV suited it nicely. rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - APR 15, 2014

Tap at PPSC, solid hoppiness and dangerously drinkable at 5.4% its your classic west coast hop everything type of beer. a solid local beer GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Tap at the brewpub. Pours a low haze straw. Persistent layer of foam. Nose is muted, orange peel, vanilla, white grape juice. Taste is very dry, nutty, some Asian fruits like jackfruit, papaya. Still quite dusty and papery. Maybe Nelson or Sorachi Ace hops?

On tap at Bruery Provisions. Pours, almost clear, copper with white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and blah blah blah. It’s really good. Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 30, 2012
Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear golden color with a medium white head that dissipates to a film quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of herbal hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with a zesty citrus hops character and notes of bready malt and light spice. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering hops aftertaste. Above average all around. On tap. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a lasting white head. Aromas of citrus zest, tangerine, white grapes, bready and toasty, grainy malt profile, hay. Very fresh and hoppy. Flavors are of tropical fruit, grainy, clean. Lively dry, crisp and clean. Clearly worth another pint. brokensail (16599) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 20, 2012
The pour is a clear golden color with a big white head and sticky lacing. Citrus peel dominates the nose. Lots of floral hops, bready malt, and a light sweetness. Some grapefruit, tangerine, and a light pineapple aroma as it warms. Mild bitterness to go with a nice fruity hop profile. Grapefruit, orange, and tangerine make up the bulk of the hop flavor, though there is a fairly strong floral character. Plenty of bread sweetness with a light toffee note.
