On tap; clear, toasted gold/amber with a creamy white head. Grapefruit, sweet caramel aroma; some earthiness. Solid aroma. Pretty great flavor and great, creamy mouthfeel. Nice balance, but very hoppy. Caramel backbone, with a hint of sweetness, with grapefruit and flowers in the finish. Would like to know the ABV, because its very drinkable. Its getting pretty ridiculous with the amount of quality IPAs and IIPAs in San Diego. doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 18, 2008
On-tap at PP SC. Pours slightly hazy amber with a moderate size offwhite head, spider web lace. Smells subdued fruity hoppy, grassy and sweet. Tastes very fruity hoppy, sweet and then bitter. Big caramel malt presence on the finish. Hops are citrusy up front as well, good and bitter, but just sweet enough. Tasty. Full body, good carbonation. 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 13, 2008
Falling Rock. Hugely pungent sweet lemon, lime, citrus oranges, cannibus... mmmm. Aggressive bitterness but well-managed with the oily/filmy and thick texture. Extremely fresh and pungent juicy orange and pine. I like. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - OCT 12, 2008
wow. this one will sneek up and bite you on the nose. Nicely balance, but still hoppy, IIPA. They have it listed as a double IPA btw. I’ll check the ABV next time. Very well done ChazMania (669) - Oceanside, California, USA - AUG 28, 2008
My wife and I spent a weekend in walking distance to this place a while ago, I must have had 8 of these beers over a 3 day period, I couldn’t get enough of its deliciousness! Great IPA, and I’m not certain, but I think this is a double IPA. Big hop and peach/mango flavor. I should have bought a growler to take home.

Pours a nice amber with sustaining head. Big malt and bigger hop aroma. Very fruity. Huge hop flavor profile followed by maltines. Big body, but easy drinking. Medium carbonation. My favorite Pizza Port SC beer! Ungstrup (37678) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2008
Draft in San Clemente. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a super lovely hop note lending the beer grass and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet again with a super lovely and very fresh hoppy note of grass, grapefruit, pine needles, and spices. Great. yespr (45508) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 6, 2008
From tap in San CLemente. Pours slight cloudy deep golden orange with a lacing white head. Peachy and fruity hops aroma. Solid grapefruity and mild peachy hops flavour. Dense caramel flavour beneath too. Goes into a nicely sweet, bitter and fruity finish. Nicely balanced and flavourful. hapjydeuce (1001) - Carlsbad, California, USA - JUL 30, 2008
On tap at O’Briens with Katie. A great refreshing beer, I think this might be a double IPA. Amber color with a rocky white head and big lacing. Super sappy pine resin aroma with orange peel and crystal malt. Grassy hop flavor with grapefruit citrus and sweet malts. Ends with lasting bitterness and a satisfying mouth-feel. Kind of like Doheny Double IPA, but less intense. Vac (2445) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 21, 2008
On tap at Toronado San Diego. Pours wtih an amber-orange body topped by a medium thick, off-white head with a good amount of lacing. It’s hoppy, bitter adn full of piney hop notes with underlying citrus notes and a slighty sweet malt note. Medium bodied and well carbonated.
