Tap. Flavour of coffee, caramel and roasted malt. Dark brown colour with light brown head. Soft mouthfeel. Coffee and caramel in the malt flavour. Rather light body. Pinball (12310) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2011
pitch dark, smooth creamy light brown head. Roasted malts dominate the aroma. Flavor is coffee, hard roasted malts, dark caramel, very subtle flowery or spicy note. brokensail (16645) - Dublin, California, USA - JAN 23, 2011
A: The pour is almost black with a thin tan/mocha colored head.
S: Starts off with a solid roasted character on the nose with plenty of chocolate (though more of a cocoa powder thing going on). A mild coffee aroma and a nice earthy hoppiness.
T: The flavor is similarly pleasing with lots of roasted malts and dark chocolate, both of which provide some bitterness to the beer. The coffee is minimal and there’s a bit of a sweet caramel or toffee thing.
M: Medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation to go with it.
D: I liked this beer quite a lot. A lot easier to drink than InFamous (not surprising), but still a lot of flavor. bu11zeye (13215) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JAN 11, 2011
(Draught) Pours a black body with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, earth, nuts, and subtle fish notes. Flavor of roasted malt, cocoa, caramel, and earth with a somewhat dry finish. dwyerpg (6410) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 10, 2011
A bit of coffee, some roast. Red-brown color. Mmm. This is thick, chewy and sticky but not too sweet. A slightly sugary finish. Certainly a good beer.

Served on tap at Toronado SD. The appearance is a an almost black hue.The nose is a classic robust porter full of a great well roasted malt profile. The flavors are the same. Roasted malt goodness with a slight dry edge to it but not overly dry. Good chocolate and caramel malt flavors. Medium to full bodied and easy to drink. Stylistically excellent. A Sim rate (at Brasserie 4:20): Hoppy, but sweet and chocolatey aroma with slight roast and a shedload of spice: cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Sharp, portery flavour with apples and bitter malt. Roasty, malty. Good beer, but not incredible. anders37 (27062) - Malmö, SWEDEN - NOV 9, 2010
Draft @ Ørsted Ølbar, Copenhagen. Pours a dark ruby black color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hints of caramel. Slightly sweetish roasted malty chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 24, 2010
On tap. Pours a clear black with a tint of red and a beige head. Sweetish roasted malt and plenty of licorice accents. Medium body with sweet roast, licorice and chocolate. Very subdued bitterness. A classic and pleasant Porter. 141010 nickd717 (4886) - San Francisco, California, USA - OCT 21, 2010
Sampled on draft. Pours a very dark brown color with a creamy, sticky beige head sitting on top. The aroma is excellent - very roasty and chocolatey with coffee and sweet caramel notes. The flavor is a nice flavorful mix of caramel, chocolate, and roasted malts, well-proportioned with a considerable hop kick. Rather smooth on the mouthfeel with medium-plus body and a little sour tinge you get from this style sometimes. Solid porter overall. Another impressive brew from Pizza Port, who brews way too many beers to even think about ticking between their four locations.
