VsXsV (4522) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 23, 2012
Draught at the brewpub during RBSG. Hazy yellow liquid with small white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove, cereal and some biscuit. Taste is dry and light bitter with notes of banana and clove. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. OK hefe, quite on style.

GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 20, 2012
Tap at PPSC. Pours full haze straw to gold. Weak foam. Estery nose with yellow apple and pear. Dog breath. Taste is tangy, yellow apple heavy. Yellow apple skin tannic finish. Decent. Yeast driven. Sweeter. Oily palate is nice. Rich. No off flavors. On style.

3.2
BMan1113VR (7931) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JAN 22, 2012
Pours with a hazed yellow hued body with a large white head. Aromas are of banana esters, nutty, grainy, bready, light caramel and a very mild phenol. Flavors are of 4vg clove, grainy, phenol, bready, wheat, banana and vanilla. Lively bubbles and dry. Didn’t notice the extreme lack of alcohol.

3.6
dwyerpg (6286) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 14, 2011
A slight bit of banana in the aroma. Flavor has a strong amount of fruit. Definitely has some German characteristics. A respectable wheat beer.

3.2
iowaherkeye (2703) - Ocean Beach, San Diego, California, USA - APR 24, 2010
Tap at San Clemente. Hazy straw with a small white head, down to a thick ring and tattered film before long. Aroma of some wheat and lemon, lightly sweet. Flavor adds a touch of seltzer water and sweet citrus, as well as some spicy clove toward the finish. Bitterness peaked at a 1 or so. Moderate prickly carbonation with a light to medium body. Not a Bavarian hefe, as listed on the menu.

3.5

SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - JUL 3, 2009
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Wheat, lemon, clove, and unripe banana aroma. The flavor is in the spicy side with some banana, light grainy wheat and a sweet finish. Creamy, almost full body. Nice flavors, but just too sweet to be really refreshing.
