Draft at Pita Kabob in Visalia (W Akers). Rich malt aroma. Chestnut brown with white head that lingers as a collar of minuscule bubbles. Taste is caramel with a backing of chocolate. There is a moderate amount of burnt aspects in the second half of the flavor - an odd malt as it is more than just roast - perhaps something off if kettle caramelization was used? On tap at PP Ocean Beach. It pours a semi-clear brown color with an off white head. The aroma is mild with some toast and light cocoa. The flavor is very toasted with medium/high acidity. >> I’m shocked that there are three other entries for "Skid Mark Brown." Big foam. Clear amber/ light brown pour. Huge lace. Nose is apple pie, sweet strawberry. Taste is suddy, little bitterness, small strawberry and apple. Drinkable, bland though. Not hoppy, soda body.
Keg at CBC Clerkenwell during Pizza Port tap takeover. A pretty good brown. Nose with hints of cocoa. Taste was smooth, lactic, hint of sweetness, cocoa. Overall, a good brown ale.

Very dark mahogony brown with a thin off white head that clears edgeward.
Nose is dark malts, light coffee, molasses, biscuit notes.
Taste comprises dark fruits, molasses, light chocolate, tar.
Medium bodied with fine carbonation.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a brown amber color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel aroma with weak hints of chocolate. Roasted malty caramel and chocolate flavor. Toasted brown bread aroma with light cocoa, burnt leaves, earth and hints of roasty coffee. Light to medium sweet flavor with moderate coffee character, burnt toasty bread, more leaves, mild earthy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Craft Clerkenwell Pizza Port Tap Takeover. Keg.Clear dark red - amber beer. Little off white head. Palate is light, dry and crispy. Lightly sourish malt that also show some dark malt character. Touch of dark fruits. Quite a dry finish, crispy too.

Aroma of US hops with some strawberry and pine, though a bit weak. Clear brown under an off-white ring. Dry, roasted nuts flavour with some slight almost lactic acid-like sourness. Light body, medium carbonation, clean finish.
