Bright fuckin orange with some decent foamy white head. Lots of flowers and stuff in the aroma, like daisies and tiger lillies, mixed with that lava orange hand soap. The flavor was a lot of orange and a LOT of really awesome hops. Had a creamy almost warm carmel taste/feel to it. word. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUN 3, 2005
Recieved in a trade with JohnC. Bright cloudy orange colored body. The aroma is massive grapefruit with some pine and caramel malt backing up the hops. This is slightly soapy. The taste is rich roasted caramel. There is also a little bit of nuttiness and some light grapefruit at the end of each drink. The body is thin and light. Very well balanced. Perfect example of what a relatively subtle IPA can achieve. JahNoth (1039) - Rochester, New York, USA - JUN 2, 2005
Pours a cloudy gold amber with a thick frothy head. Zesty pepper in the aroma with some sugary fruitness reminiscent of those sugar watermelon slices. Kind of cloudy and slightly flat on the tongue. Flavor explodes with burn your tongue hops, some peach, some lemon citric with strong undercurrent of drytoast. This flavor lingers baby. Thanks to Odeed for the sample. sloth (2919) - Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA - MAY 30, 2005
Large offwhite head, most excellent retention and loads of sticky lace. A brilliant, clear copper colored ale. Fruity, hoppy nose, melons, peaches, tangariney, just juicy! Medium body, mouth watering. Plenty of fruity hop flavor balanced out with some toasty, biscuity malts. Hoppy juicy, malty dry, citrusy and floral. Finish is dry and generously hoppy! Nice stuff! Props to JohnC for this cruise! rudolf (2360) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAY 16, 2005
Big grassy/grapefruit nose. Toasted malt, lemony hops. Yow. Body is cloudy orange with a thin off white head. Flavor is rich toasted malt, hops, hops and hops! This is what I remember SNPA tasting like back when I thought it was the greatest. Creamy body, smooth carbonation. I want more!

bottle thanks to darkelf! nice candyish hops aroma, citrus and pine abound. good malt backbone for the fairly hoppy bitter body. textbook IPA, very refreshing. Odeed (1805) - Bakersfield, California, USA - MAY 12, 2005
i was very happy to pick a few pizza ports this past weeknd up north.this "special ale" poured a cloudy orange with a thick white head.the aroma was the classic orange/pine aroma you would expect from a california i.p.a.the mouthfeel was full and had a nice hoppy bite.very crisp and not to dry.the flavors of pine, cedar, carbonation, and citrus blended nicely.this stuff is awsome! dberger624 (1028) - Voorhees, New Jersey, USA - MAY 7, 2005
Thaks to Gina from the brewery for this bottle. Says it’s brewed and bottled at this location. Solid IPA. Very hoppy. Not overly dry. Very slight bitter end to it. This is a keeper. hopdog (12816) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 6, 2005
Bottle acquired in trade with DarkElf (thanks!). Poured a medium to dark, cloudy amber color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of pine with grapefruit. Tastes of pine, citrus, and grapefruit. Nice and hoppy with a nice bitter kick at the end. Some malts lurking in the background. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 1, 2005
(Bottle) Pours a cloudy orange body with an average-sized creamy off-white head with great endurance. Aroma of florals, pine, and citrus. Refreshing hops flavor.
