Arrives with a bright, clear, gold hue and is topped by a frothy, thin, white head. This has a fruity, spicy aroma to it; the fruit character smells sort of like watermelon rinds somehow. Earthy, coriander like spice notes as well as a touch of clove are fairly noticeable. There is also a nice, cracker like pale malt character that helps to round things out.
Brightly carbonated, and light bodied, this is quite quenching, but with lots of flavor. This has a huge phenolic, and spicy yeast character to it; ample clove, pepper, ginger, as well as a floral character that is spicy as well. The phenolics lean towards tongue numbing turpeneds in the finish. Lightly bitter, and perhaps a touch herbal, the hop character may also suggest at some citrus, but that may also be the yeast character. The yeast character also contributes a herbal, earthy character that I associate with American coriander and a Chimay derived yeast.
Quite nice, a huge step up from the standard brewpub Blonde fermented with clean American Ale yeast. It is perhaps a touch too phenolic.

Nice light beer. Very fragrant with some spice. Getting some fruit and maybe some banana. Good summer beer

Gold in color with a white head. The sage really comes through on this one. Nice balance of herb and malt aromas. Sweet bread on the nose with a touch of yeast and floral hops. Some spices such as clove and coriander are also there. The flavor isn’t quite as good as the nose to me. Sage is present, as is the sweet malt. On tap at PP Carlsbad. Pours with a clear yellow hued body with a large white head that lasts. Aromas are hugely spicy, phenols, coriander, clove, ginger, sage, curacao orange peel. Flavors are spicy, ginger, sage. Light initial malt sweetness. Finishes dry. Very phenolicly spicy. Lively bubbles, very dry finish.

Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Very pale straw-coloured pour with a nice thick head. The nose is fresh and quite spicy. A little kiss of grassiness with an herbal sage/citrus character along with some lightly berryish esters. Fresh and wheaty with a lightly spicy finish. A nice dry flinty bitterness on the finish. Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Poured a clear yellow with a thin, white head. Fairly good lace. Big florals, rich spices, big herbal sage in the nose. On tap at Pp Cbad. Small bubble foamy head. Yellow color. Some yeasty banana in the aroma. Some sourness, while inapproriate is actually quite nice. Pretty decent and good with pizza.
