On tap @ Pizza Port Bressi Ranch. Black in color with a khaki head. Pretty roasty on the nose. Some grass, a hint of green apple, and a ton of woody hops. Kind of smokey, which I don’t really care for. Flavor has a lot of grassy hops and is pretty bitter. Big time herbs and some pine. A little chalky and ashy on the finish. Black with a decent tan swirl.
Nose is bitter roast, charr, pine, bitter tropical fruit tunes, mineral notes, grapefruit.
Taste comprises pine licks, charr, liqourice, red berry pangs, mineral notes, dank hop, earthy roast.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness.

Tap at Solana with GT. Good lace, dark pour looking like an imperial stout. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, coffee, toasted nuts. Taste is toffee, caramel, hazelnut.. .. At first it was way too acidic. Warming up lemon acid lowered, still at lot of coffee. Palate is still not doing it, acidic and weak. Front end of this is okay, but backend sucks. Needs work. Just keeping putting Goodbye Blue Sky on tap.

Tap at Pizza Port Solana Beach. $5 16oz Conical Pint. Darker pour with good mocha lace. Nose is Applewood smoked bacon, brownie, caramel. Taste is thinner and more acidic coffee than expected, even soapy. Sort of weak in palate, disappointing. Goodbye Blue Sky smacks this one across the face.
