"It’s hard to believe we’ve been slingin’ pizzas for 20 years since March of 1987! That’s about 7300 days or 175,200 happy hours of fun! We’re excited to celebreate by brewing and bottling up a beer to share a special toast! Swami’s IPA is one of our best selling beers. Many have called it the original San Diego IPA. As such, it’s been a big part of Pizza Port Solana Beach since we installed the brewing system in 1992. A bold IPA hopped to the extreme with galena, Centennial and Cascade hops. We also add a healthy dose of dry hops in the serving tank and always serve it unfiltered. Thank you so much to everyone who has been sharing the memories along the unbelievable way...Cheers!"

Wysoka średnia kalifornijska: żywiczne, goryczkowe, przejrzyste, rasowe ipa. Tyle że z puszki. I dwa razy drożej niż polskie podobnej klasy.

Light, fresh and hoppy aroma. Cloudy yellow color with a huge white head. Great taste, hoppy, dank, but not overwhelming, more refreshing. Reminiscent of Bells 2 Hearted. Good effervescent palate. I would drink this again.

Good stuff, a light IPA with plenty of flavor and a kick. From San Diego but found it up in NorCal.

Can from Craftissimo, drank w Matt at home. Pours a clear honey amber with fizzy creamy white head. Smells of corn malt, biscuit, mango, pineapple, lime, citrus and hay hop, moderate pepper. Very nice nose. Tastes of resin grassy hop, little more herbal than the aroma, slight plastic and lemon detergent esters, gently spicy pale malt. Body is not too heavy, slick, peppery resin bitterness, finish has a smooth slightly sweetish malt bite. Very nice, especially the nose - tropical fruit San Diego IPA with fragrant hay/corn/pepper bitterness.

Can from Craftissimo at home. Quite light golden pour with fine white head. Aroma is strong pineapple and mango with some candied banana - really nice. Taste is much more citric bitterness with tropical fruit and candied banana. Bitter slightly boozy finish. Smooth palate. Was worried this wouldn’t be in good shape but tastes pretty fresh. Really good.

Piana obfita, średnio pęcherzykowa, nieco mydlana, ale trwała. Barwa jasnozłota, opalizująca. Aromat intensywnie cytrusowy, żywiczny, lekko naftowy, chmielowy - klasa! W smaku też bardzo chmielowe, grejpfrutowe, świerkowe, lekko słodkie na finiszu, co budzi skojarzenia z dojrzałymi białymi winogronami. Goryczka średnia do wysokiej, albedowa.
Całkiem blisko do ikony stylu, czyli Focal Bangera.

We live in an age where basically everything is good! Pizza Port comes through--yet again--with another dangerously easy-to-drink IPA. Superbly balanced!

Light and hoppy aroma. Light yellow in color and clear. Mild bitterness on the start with it continuing to the finish. Lighter IPA ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Thunder Canyon, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank piney hops and she biscuity malt. Flavour is bone dry, with piney hops and biscuity malt, and a very bitter finish. Nice stuff.
