"It’s hard to believe we’ve been slingin’ pizzas for 20 years since March of 1987! That’s about 7300 days or 175,200 happy hours of fun! We’re excited to celebreate by brewing and bottling up a beer to share a special toast! Swami’s IPA is one of our best selling beers. Many have called it the original San Diego IPA. As such, it’s been a big part of Pizza Port Solana Beach since we installed the brewing system in 1992. A bold IPA hopped to the extreme with galena, Centennial and Cascade hops. We also add a healthy dose of dry hops in the serving tank and always serve it unfiltered. Thank you so much to everyone who has been sharing the memories along the unbelievable way...Cheers!"

Formerly 7.4% when brewed at Solana Beach location.

Perfect example of san diego style ipa. Very clean and dry with citric hop flavors taking center stage. Very good stuff.

16 oz single from Total Wine & More - Laguna Hills, consumed via can on a camping trip. Aroma of piney hops, mild resin and light toasty malts. Similar flavor, adding moderate hop bitterness and a light grainy sweetness. Medium body with a dry finish. Solid IPA overall.

vanuit blik, aroma is enorm vers en fris, hoppig, gras, stro, hooi, den. smaken van gras, redelijk tot stevig hopbitter, den, matig zoet, mout, kneitervers en een echte hopbom, redelijke body lange hopbittere afdronk. veel tropische vruchten, erg goed.

W aromacie tropiki, cytrusy, białe owoce, intensywnie i przyjemnie. W wyglądzie słomkowe, klarowne z obfitą białą pianą zdobiącą szkło. W smaku cytrusy, białe owoce, tropiki, wytrawne. Pijalność wysoka, smukłe, faktura aksamitna, goryczka wysoka, grejpfrutowa. Ogólnie bardzo dobre west coast ipa.

Wysoka średnia kalifornijska: żywiczne, goryczkowe, przejrzyste, rasowe ipa. Tyle że z puszki. I dwa razy drożej niż polskie podobnej klasy.

Light, fresh and hoppy aroma. Cloudy yellow color with a huge white head. Great taste, hoppy, dank, but not overwhelming, more refreshing. Reminiscent of Bells 2 Hearted. Good effervescent palate. I would drink this again.

Good stuff, a light IPA with plenty of flavor and a kick. From San Diego but found it up in NorCal.

CacheManyHose (713) - HONG KONG - MAY 15, 2017
Can from Craftissimo, drank w Matt at home. Pours a clear honey amber with fizzy creamy white head. Smells of corn malt, biscuit, mango, pineapple, lime, citrus and hay hop, moderate pepper. Very nice nose. Tastes of resin grassy hop, little more herbal than the aroma, slight plastic and lemon detergent esters, gently spicy pale malt. Body is not too heavy, slick, peppery resin bitterness, finish has a smooth slightly sweetish malt bite. Very nice, especially the nose - tropical fruit San Diego IPA with fragrant hay/corn/pepper bitterness.

HKdIPA (799) - HONG KONG - MAY 15, 2017
Can from Craftissimo at home. Quite light golden pour with fine white head. Aroma is strong pineapple and mango with some candied banana - really nice. Taste is much more citric bitterness with tropical fruit and candied banana. Bitter slightly boozy finish. Smooth palate. Was worried this wouldn’t be in good shape but tastes pretty fresh. Really good.
