Draft at the brewpub. Poured black with thick head and lacing. Big roasted malt aroma with some chocolate. Roasted malts , chocolate, coffee. Really solid for a low abv stout.

Draft at Carlsbad PP. Pours a pitch black murkiness. One of the creamiest heads I have seen. Lace was thick as hell and surrounded the entire glass. Aromas of heavy chocolate, roasty malts, caramel, bread, brown sugar, little bit of sweet hops. Amazing irish dry stout. Smoother mouthfeel then guiness. Tap at PP Carlsbad. It pours jet black, with a thick beige head. The nose is charcoal, roasted malt, smoke, caramel, coffee and leather. The taste is roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit (cherry, blueberry and plum), cocoa and rich-roasted coffee, with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and creamy mouth-feel.
