Coppery pour...much more so than expected in a "pale lager". Richer malt profile than the style usually sports. Goes well with the pizza. allfreej (556) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - JAN 6, 2006
A great red ale! On tap at the Liar’s Club, this was the "house" red. The 4-7 happy hour $2.00 pints and the high quality of this beer, coupled with the outstanding food and greta serivce at the Liar’s Club combine to make this a must stop when in San Diego. Draft @ Liars Club. Looks like a light bodied amber but thats about all thats light about this stuff. Medium bodied with a sweet molasses taste and crisp finish. Not much head or aroma to speak of. Could be my favorite Pale Lager. HoppyBunny (88) - Temptation, Michigan, USA - DEC 28, 2004
Light copper goldish color, with a little head. Hops, sweet malt and caramel aroma. Bitter and dry finish but lively on the tongue. CE619 (81) - san diego, California, USA - AUG 13, 2002
a pleasant, crisp middle of the road export style lager.....................
