>> Huge carbonation on a clear golden pour. Nice white foam with good retention and full, complete sheets of lace. Soft body with no alcohol and low bitterness. Really nice spicy hops and soft West Coast butterscotch addition. Clean drinking, slightly tannic finish. Feels lighter in abv than 7.3% as listed. Fresh lemon and cantaloupe nose isn’t really assertive. Soft, very low bitterness, almost golden ale over IPA. Clean, heavy butter biscuit throughout and super soft body.
<!> almost golden ale over IPA and definitely not DIPA at 7.3%
Very clear golden yellow, slight laced head. Mild aroma, tastes is grainy and bitter. Had this along side another one called Kashd In that is alot better.

Not as good at the end as it was at the beginning. Got a little oily it seemed and was a shade "waterier" than its cousin the Poor Man’s IPA. Still, cant say I didn’t enjoy it. Good stuff overall. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAR 25, 2013
On tap at brewery. Clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Huge earthy lawn clippings, grass, straw, and more vegetal grassiness to the aroma and taste with a big bitter bite. SDalkoholic (2408) - Linda Vista, California, USA - FEB 9, 2013
On tap @ Toronado: Deep aroma of hops. Flavor is semi-sweet yet has an extremely bitter bite of hops along with a taste of sweet onion. Metallic finish. No formation of head, clear golden liquid.

Tap @ PP Carlsbad. Clear golden pour with a rocky white head. Aroma is pine with citrus and a clean, slightly grainy malt backbone. Taste is on the bitter side with some sharp pine and balancing malt sweetness (minimal though). Clean, lightly coating mouthfeel. Well done IIPA with pine and bitterness as the main features. On tap at the source. Pours with a clear golden orange hued body with a lasting egg shell white head with good lace and retention. Aromas are of citrus, medium ester, lots of hops, grassy, alcohol, light caramel. Flavors are citrusy, herbaceous and a touch boozy with some bready and light caramel malt back bone. Lively bubbles, bone dry and boozy. A great DIPA, nothing unexpected from a place like Pizza Port. yespr (47002) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 19, 2012
From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty and light hops fruity. Bitter and smooth peachy. Bitter and lingering fruity. Ends dry, bitter and yet smooth hops fruity into the far finish. bu11zeye (13140) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 17, 2012
