Cask with Amarillo hops at the brewery. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is grassy, herbal, and dank hops with biscuit malt and pear esters. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, light malt and fruity esters with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

On draft at the metutchen uno restarant/brewery. A light citrusy example of an ipa. Golden color with a medium head. Drinkable.

pineypower (3327) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - NOV 4, 2010
Pours out a dark copper color with a big off white head. Aroma is of some light grassy, citrus hops and some caramel. Taste is of some light grass notes, citrus hops, some caramel, light grains and a dry spicy hop finish. Solid, drinkable IPA. Average.

Cletus (6355) - Connecticut, USA - AUG 2, 2009
Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of earth, grass, some wildflowers. Tastes of pine resin, spice, some earthy hints on the finish.

keepersj12 (3117) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - JUN 22, 2009
Below average for an IPA. Not much aroma. Good looking though. Flavor was bland. A bit thin.

CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUN 14, 2009
Growler sampled at Noog Four-0 5/31/08 courtesy of jcwattsrugger: Pours a transparent copper bronze with spotty-lacing white head. Aroma of toasty grainy sweet pale malts and some grassy English hops. Body starts fairly full and well-carbonated with a grainy malty sweetness and grassy earthy resiny bittering hops before a drier toasty bittersweet finish. A pretty good IPA.

yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - MAR 28, 2009
On cask this was boring. Average for a light pale ale not close to an IPA on cask. Draft version definitely had more hops present than the cask version. Draft was way more vibrant and carbonation was very, even ultra low for a cask. Even though it was on cask I expected some carb. The red was better. Rating average of two.

decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - OCT 23, 2008
Red/copper pour with off white head and lace. Medium malt and medium hops on the nose. Caramel malt and a nice finishing bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. A fine beer. I also had this beer at noogfest 08 but could not find it on the site.

3.4
heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - JUN 8, 2008
Growler at Noogfest ’08. The body was dark gold with a white head. The aroma was grapefruit and toast. Dry and dusty type character in that nose. The taste was grapefruit and bread crust. A nice brew.
