EerieDrinks (380) - Malm, SWEDEN - DEC 11, 2016
3 finger frothy, tan coloured head. Leaves beautiful lacing. Pitch black beer with carbonation rolling up the glass. Strong aroma of raisins, coffee and mulled wine. Light version of the aroma (plus oats) grabs on to the taste and a alcoholic vinous taste goes up the nose, but then it suddenly rolls to a flat stop with only a semi-creamy sensation staying in the mouth. Feels very thin and almost watery. Not impressed at all, especially when it’s supposed to be an "Imperial". The best thing this porter has going for it is the pleasant aroma.

Mørk brun klar med lavt beige skum. Lukter melkesjokolade, røde bær, noe vanilje og kaffe. Søtlig start, sjokolade og vanilje. Lett bitterhet, noe brent karamell og kaffe.

mzaar (3823) - Varberg, SWEDEN - MAY 12, 2016
Flaska. Mörkt brun, på gränsen till svart, med ett moccafärgat skum. Dofter av kaffe, karamell och trä. Smakinslag av lakrits, kaffe, rostad malt och lätt av vanilj. Lite för mycket kolsyra för min smak. Medelstor kropp. Avslutas med en lätt sälta.

Black is the theme.chocolate and coffee notes in nose and in taste. Palate more metallic and still heavy notes but a little short on the palate. Overall a very nice beer of its type.
