Flaska. Svart med moccafärgat skum. Arom och smak av kaffe, rostad malt, lakrits och röda bär. Kolsyrig, och aningen torr, munkänsla. KennethArd (570) - Odense, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2013
Lightly roasted aroma with liquorice and caramel. Black with white head. There’s liquorice in the taste but also some kind of weird taste of old, sour, cold coffee. The body is too light for a stout. fellebag (1478) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 9, 2013
50cl bottle. Light brown head, creamy texture. Very dark brown color. Aroma has licorice, chocolate, sugar bread and leather. Taste is coffee, cream and chocolate. Fresh and thorough, but a bit dead.

Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, grain, chocolate and grass. Taste is medium and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Bottle. Pours a deep red with a light-brown head. Not much aroma to speak of. Taste has notes of lightly roasted malt and caramel. Slightly short and bitter aftertaste. Mouthfeel is thin. Pretty average "safe" beer. Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 13, 2013
0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. Slowly on its way out of the bottle it pours a deep dark brown body with a small quickly sidesticking light brown top. On the nose I get both leather and licorice combined with a soft roastiness and traces of chocolate powder. Not horrible at all. It’s soft to average on the carbonation with a gliding light mouthfeel. The taste has both chocolate, roasted malts, soft traces of leather and a nice gentle bitterness. Is this the strangest name on a beer ever? I’m not sure. Perhaps? But it’s actually quite a nice easy drinking beer. 09.01.2012 hallinghansen (3193) - Odense SV, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2013
Bottle. Dark brown with a medium offwhite head. Aroma is caramel, coffee, roasted malt, licorice notes. Flavor is caramel, malt, licorice, coffee. Thin. ClubGonzo (5670) - Bergen, NORWAY - JAN 28, 2013
Bottle, shared with Bergen Beer Geek Tasting Crew. Dark, near-black brown body with a small white head. Aroma is licorice, leather, hints of burnt toast and a stomach-acid-neutralizer called "Nyco" in Norway. Strange. Taste is chocolate, roasty grain notes, hints of chocolate and bread. Fair enough. Medium body and carbonation. No winner, but not the worst I’ve had.
