COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: previously brewed at Næstvedbryggeriet Føniks.

Bottle. 5.8%. Best before 03.02.18. Pours a hazy, deep golden/amber, with an off-white head. Great lacing. Malty and overripe fruit aroma with hops in the background and a light tart note. A bit dusty and with a subdued chocolate note. Flavour is sweetish and malty with a nutty overtone. Overripe fruit and light hops in the background here as well. Mildly bitter finish, with malt and light hops, and a lingering note of overripe fruit followed by a light grassy/apple note. Soft palate. Overall okay, but nothing special and a bit unbalanced; too heavy on the overripe fruit. 28.04.17.

Copenhagen 5/4 2017. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. Moody Chicken with a lot of bruises on the label. Pours cloudy amber with white head. Settles as very thin creamy layer of foam. Moderate lacing. Aroma is slightly smoky in combination with sweet caramel and licorice. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Flavor is quite sweet but with a nice balance with medium bitterness. Pleasant Easter Seasonal that will a fine supplement to a heavy Easter Lunch.

Fresh fruit scented ale. Lovely fullness with plenty spices taste. It’s a bit difficult for me to type the individual flavors, but wheat influences are quite apparent. Fresh and tasty ale which I certainly like and that I really like to buy again. Should I mention a little less so I think that hop bitterness is too sharp in the final. A hop type with slightly softer finale might highlight its spicy and fruity notes better, and it could well earn.

MotherBrother (945) - Aalborg, DENMARK - APR 5, 2015
Pour dark slightly hazy amber, with a small white fizzy head. Aroma of nuts, caramel, plenty of malts, old hops, faint grass, hay, old dark fruits. Taste is pretty sweet, with some faint bitter notes. Semi oily n’ full (regarding the style) body, with a fizzy carb. Easter is here I guess.

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks!
