Fra cask på Three Tuns Bristol 30 Apr 17. Svart. Lysebrunt skum langs glasset. Bra aroma av røstet malt. Smaken melkesjokolade. I søtligste laget men ok.

Cask ale, half-pint, at Orange Tree, Chelmsford. Low, fawn-coloured head to a near-black body. Aroma of liquorice and coffee. The flavour character brings moments of dark dough, liquorice and a a backdrop of coffee, carefully roasted. Easy to drink. Satisfying (Shared with Cunningham 19.02.2017).

Black color with a beige head on top. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Semi dry ending. Chocolate, roast and some fruity notes. A quite nice and decent stout. Very session able.

Tram Stop, Southampton. A modest, drinkable stout, quite clean and fresh tasting. There’s a nudge of raisins and alcohol in the background. Likable, but only mildly interesting.

[GBBF 2016, Olympia] - Plain Ales Inncognito, 4.8%. Schuckeschwarz, wenig, cremiger Schaum. Ein traditionelles Stout mit der üblichen Mischung aus schokoladigen, Kaffee und Lakritznoten. Mitteldichte Textur, kaum wässrig. Ordentlich.
