Fra cask på Three Tuns Bristol 30 Apr 17. Svart. Lysebrunt skum langs glasset. Bra aroma av røstet malt. Smaken melkesjokolade. I søtligste laget men ok. Rune (13647) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 7, 2017
Cask ale, half-pint, at Orange Tree, Chelmsford. Low, fawn-coloured head to a near-black body. Aroma of liquorice and coffee. The flavour character brings moments of dark dough, liquorice and a a backdrop of coffee, carefully roasted. Easy to drink. Satisfying (Shared with Cunningham 19.02.2017). Tram Stop, Southampton. A modest, drinkable stout, quite clean and fresh tasting. There’s a nudge of raisins and alcohol in the background. Likable, but only mildly interesting. john44 (3429) - SW London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 11, 2017
