Cask: Regular.
Like bolts of satin and velvet Inndulgence wraps the body in luxury and comfort. Centuries-old traditions and lores have helped to make this dark ruby porter as sublime as the winter solstice and as sensual as the stones over which it presides. The taste buds are flooded with the pleasures of winter: hot chocolate, toffee and a lingering reminder of autumn past with the last berries and dark warming ’coffees with a shot’ around the bonfire. Sit back, relax and indulge!

Cask at the Castle Tap, Reading. A mahogany pour with a loose beige head; sweet aroma of demerara sugar; sugary and rather thin in ht emouth; with a drier finish with lingering licorice.

two pint take out from the White Bear, Tewkesbury. Very deep brown colour with a thin off white head. Aroma has coffee and milk chocolate. Taste is more like a fruit and nut bar.

Queen’s Head, Uxbridge. Pours a dark ruby colour with a thin head. Not a huge aroma, but texture and taste are wonderful. Smooth and silky texture with a very comforting mouthfeel. Taste of chocolate and coffee dominate. Giving a wonderful rich flavour which disguises the strength. Very easy drinking.

Vi fortsätter att häva i oss goda engelska drycker mellan shoppingen. Denna var dagens 5e.

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise - Euston, London. Pours clear brown with very little head. Sweet, semi-dark malt nose, some light toffee, faint chocolate. Medium sweet flavor with toffee, sugary and cheap chocolate bar, light earth, very faint roast. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, further toffee and chocolate, low bitterness. OK.

a_cross (639) - Poole, Dorset, ENGLAND - JUN 23, 2013
Deep ruby brown, thick creamy head; nice roast malt aroma; smooth toasted malt and dark fruit - blackberry, plum - taste; some hop bitterness and a lingering, fruity finish; really good - the second excellent Plain Ales beer I’ve had recently; not quite as awesome as Innocence, but still great; imagine it would be perfect for a wet Autumn night.

Scopey (14523) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 1, 2013
Cask at Grape & Grain. It pours dark brown with a small beige head. The nose is roasted malt, cocoa, earth, wood, berry and spice. The taste is roasted malt, earth, caramel, toast, treacle, dark fruit and raisin with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent porter.

esox (1225) - Oulu, FINLAND - MAR 21, 2013
Cask. Dark ruby, slightly hazy. Yeasty, slightly perryish and sour roasted nose, sweet herbal hops, bready maltiness. Soft and fruity start, fresh and yeasty. Yeasty, softly roasted and dark fruity finish with moderate bitterness. Acidic roasted finish, nice nuttiness. Smooth, almost flat, slightly "runny". Nice beer.
