Clear medium to dark amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, light toasted - roasted, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, licorice notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, hoppy, nutty - licorice acidic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. 
From cask. Pours clear and golden amber with a small off white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light breadish. Sweet, toasted and slight caramelish. Bitter and dry roasted finish.

Beer Festival 2011. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, mild rotten vegetables, some nutty and grassy notes. Flavour is nutty, grassy, quite crispy malts along with some dry wooden notes. Quite mouthdrying palate.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear nut brown. Fruity with hay and cocoa. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Caramel and hay. Mildly bitter finish with a twist of milk chocolate powder.

Cask at the Cleveland Arms - Bayswater, London. Pours clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. Pleasant brown bread aroma with touches of toasted leaves. Light to medium sweet flavor with good, bouncy bready malts, light toast, brown sugar, faint berries, low bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation; great condition. Balanced finish with more citrusy now but underscored by fundamental, brown bread malts. A very drinkable bitter. Taste comprises toffee, walnut, earthy fruits, brown bread, red berry snap, airy malts.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter edge.
