Cask at the Magpie, Brentford. Deep red-brown with a lacy fine white head, dusty malt on he nose, malty and slightly nutty body, dry-sweet bitter finish, a straightforward ale - and very good.
Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. Sour malty aroma. Ruby chestnut. Deducting a point - whilst the beige head is pretty healthy, it’s pretty blotchy. Sweet. Soft. Saccharine finish. Sugar. Berries. Not too much going on but easy drinking. Was expecting more bitterness but a nice surprise. gegwilson (3676) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2016

Queen’s Head, Uxbridge. Very thin head which disappear almost immediately but leaves some lacing. Lacking in aroma other than sweet. Taste is sweetish with an edge. Some hay notes mingled in with light caramels. Smooth and easy drinking.
