One for the Tree huggers... This Mahogany-colored ale features local organic Crown Maple syrup and has been aged in OAK barrels. Its effervescence can be attributed to bottle conditioning with local Crown Maple Sugar. Its tartness can be accredited to the local microbes taht have made a comfy home in our oak barrels.

Pours an almost flat dark brown with no head. Aroma of oak, maple, roast and lacto. Taste follows, but insanely sour, almost undrinkable.

Bottle. Amber pour with a off white head. Maple, sweet caramel malt, acidic, vinegar, wood, earthy, and honey. Different, but not working for me.

Solid first beer from this brewery. low carb amber pour. Aroma is tons of earthy notes, maple, balsamic, and walnuts? Taste is too sweet and it clashes with everything. Maple is heady and soil is in there too. Aroma had me really intrigued but the taste does not live up to that.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of sourness, some light sweetness from the syrup, light notes of oak, hints of fruits, and some pale and caramel malts. Flavor the same with a pretty cool blend. Average texture. A cool beer but I feel like the sweetness of the syrup might take away from the sour beer.

Backlog from March 2014. Bottle that I took to Andys for game day. Pours a hazed amber brown with a thin white head. Soft musk, with some acid behind it. A bit of honey and maple syrup. A touch sweet and malty at the start, picks up some acid, gets a bit warm, but seems a bit empty. Tart acid on the finish. Seems like with some time this could funk up a bit, though it could also get a good bit more acetone going on. Nice start though.

Bottle care of Jaydad. Pours a deep brownish body with thin off white lacing. Aroma is light overall - notes of funky raisin bread, earthy oakiness and burnt maple. Mouthfeel is thin with light earthy character upfront followed by notes of burnt maple, light alcohol, some honey and sweet malt.
