Keg (OlutExpo2015)
Starchy buttery aroma. Light palate, crispish, sweetish, simply light grains. Passable bitter lager, but too starchy. No better than most macro fare.

Bottle pours a mostly clear with a light haze in the middle golden/orange with huge fluffy white head. Aroma of mild grassy hops with bready graham cracker malt and yeast, simple really but a great balance. Lots of caramel malt here, old bottle I assume, not undrinkable though. If know I’m getting a more fresh bottle I’ll revisit based on aroma.

330ml bottle. Aroma is light hops, floral. Appearance is cloudy yellow with a white foam. Taste is bittersweet. Stays a bit. Light metallic. Average German Pils.

Beese (3296) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 16, 2014
Draught at the King’s Arms, Bethnal Green. Poured a hazy, really pale golden colour, with a dense white head. Aroma of lager malt, floral hops and dough. Grassy hop flavours, with some honey and bread. Finish was building bitter hops, grass, mango and grain.

Keg at the Kings Arms, London. It pours a light pale yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma is light hops, light grains, some citrus. Taste is mildly hoppy and grainy, light malty body, with notes of grass and citrus. Light bodied with good carbonation. Overall, refreshing and quite tasty.

500 ml bottle. Pours with vigorous head, cloudy yellow,. Citrus/floral hop aroma with some graininess. Light mouthfeel, Prominent hop flavor, very drinkable, lingering bitter aftertaste. I could quaff a few of these.

Growler from Night Owl in Ebisu. Lightly fruity, dry and crisp, lots of grain. Really very nice. Little touch of caramel sweetness maybe. Nice.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is herbal hops, malty caramel malt (yeah that’s right), light cardboard due to not really fresh anymore. Flavour is fresh weizen like malt at first, then some metallic cardborad, then light herbal hops, then more metal. Probably very nice when fresh.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2014
Bottle at home, slightly over its best before date. Almost clear golden pour, thin white head. Aroma is grassy, citrus, floral and crispy grains. Flavor is slightly bitter, slightly grassy, crispy hops, nice and subtle. Smooth texture. Very nice pilsener. Should try it fresh once.
