You have to love the Diesel. I think that it is a good cheap heavy beer. Good for sitting around and watching a game.
From old tasting notes. Brassy gold color with a large white head. Light dryish malt nose. Slightly dry malt flavor is farmy. Light hops in finish. Drinkable, though thin and watery. Birdiebeagle (958) - Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 4, 2009
Draft in Myrtle Beach after golf. Pours a decent golden with a white head. Not much in the aroma department but a crisp refreshing beer after a hot round of golf. Not all that bad. chriso (7569) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2006
Bottle, from the excellent vintage bottled beer stall at GBBF, consumed at Kookfest, September 2006. Indeterminate age. Nice to get a historical curiosity but the beer wasn’t up to much, not surprisingly. Golden colour & not too flat. Barley any aroma. Sweet taste with a sort of cosmetic edge and virtually no body. Not much merit now, if it had any in the first place. But not really that much worse than many fresh pale lagers, especially those from the tropics.

Bottle @ Kookfest. Not nice. Old pale malts. Musty and acidic............... kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - SEP 6, 2006
Bottle (Chris_o Gathering06): Golden with a white head. Oxidised harsh cardboard and grain. Not nice.

Really enjoyed this beer. Slightly bitter taste to start, but clean after-taste. Head held up well all the way down the glass. I must admit however that the beer was litterally ICE cold (my closet aussie) but man was it refreshing. Tomislav (12) - CROATIA - JUL 2, 2004
Nice light golden colour, medium head, nice carbonation. Not to strog or bitter. Recommendable.
