3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
One of the better American Pale Ale’s I can remember drinking. The taste was very pleasant.
Keg at the taproom, 10/11/14.
Lightly hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is citric peel, hint of orange, straw, earthy hop.
Taste comprises angerine, straw, earthy hop tones.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light citric tones.
So very so, limited flavours, doesn’t come anywhere near a decent APA! pdx77 (1483) - Oregon, USA - MAY 18, 2014
On draught at Belmont Station. Golden color. Aroma is pine, passionfruit, and sweet citrus. Taste is bitter pine resin, grapefruit, and some citrus. Taste is slightly more bitter than the sweet aroma implies, but still a good hoppy pale.
