Nitro keg at the brewpub, 10/11/14.
Black with a decent tan covering.
Nose is thin, cardboard, light roast, metallic tinges, iron, faint cocoa.
Taste comprises light charr, bitter notes, dark malt, earthy cocoa, light toffee.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, smooth, semi drying close.
So so affair, typical brew pub nitro stout, looks and feels good but doesn’t deliver much at the business end.
