3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 20, 2015
Bottle at the brewery. Hazed light amber with a fine white head. Aroma impression is apple cider, must, wheat, grain, yeast. Light bodied, sweet, doughy, medium-low bitterness, prickly and lightly acidic. Pretty unclean and muddled by the doughy yeast, the malt seems pretty basic / grainy, and there’s a slickness that suggests wheat.

jamaty (2268) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 8, 2015
Color miel turbia con poca espuma. Aroma cereal, como el sabor, malteaso y algo dulce. Poco gas, buena textura. Agradable.

GoufCustom (2255) - HONG KONG - AUG 28, 2014

330ml long-neck bottle bought at Biorganic’s booth at HKCEC in Wan Chai during HKTDC Food Expo 2014.

Cloudy hazy light amber brown colour with thin traces of dirt-like yeast sediments; One-quarter finger head and soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Moderate sticky lacing and near zero carbonation; Aroma of lager malt, with stale bread, strong dough, dry biscuits, yeast, very faint wet cardboard and faint grass; Very light sweet taste of moderate bready malt, with light molasses notes, very light caramel, dough, strong dry biscuits, yeast, light lemon, very light bitter hops and faint grass; Close to light body, Thin but very dry palate; Mouth feel is moderately malty in thin body, amber malt as in light caramel. Tight molasses, strong yeast with dough, very dry biscuits and low hops. Very reserved and easy at the same time... Hoppiness is thin grassy nose, light lemon and faint grass in taste. Very low-fi bitterness for a mostly malty and biscuit finish; Very dry after taste, easy and yeasty to mouth.

Comments: This is German, but its smell and taste is so urbane and English: light body, very dry, loads of bread dough and low hops. So it’s easy drinking for a Landbier, but it’s so overcautious it chokes my mind. Average.
