Bottle from GBS, enjoyed at "Gunnarsbu". Pours almost pitch black with a big creamy tan head.Roasted malty aroma, powerful and inviting with some liquorice and vanilla.Smooth creamy mouthfeel, taste is light sweet, but roasty malts with dark fruits and liquorice, even better tasting when temperate. Long lasting finish.

humlelala (1375) - DENMARK - APR 17, 2016
(50 cl bottle from thanks to Paros! Lot No: 28 Mar 2016) Poured at fridge temperature into a stemmed wine glass reveals a mostly black body with one finger of tan head that subsides somewhat leaving film and nice lace. Aroma has a whiff of roasted malt and some faint hints of licorice and smoke. Pleasant aroma. Oily texture, soft carbonation, medium to light body and a lingering dry finish. Despite the relatively low ABV it doesn’t seem watery. Flavour follows the nose and remains true to the style in that there is not much sweetness there. Quite drinkable and clean.

kostasgiotis (124) - GREECE - DEC 21, 2015
it pours a black body with a tan head with no retention that leaves a ring alla the way smells malt, coffee, caramel,a little liquor.the taste is bittersweet with caramel tones but not so complex as the style’s definition.the body is mediumlight to medium.the aftertaste is of medium length and balances between sweet and bitter.Overall drinkable.

rouhlas (4056) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - NOV 28, 2015
