This was a little like Newcastle and Pumpkin Shandy merged in one. Matt liked it, too. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can, from a friend in Ohio. Poured a copper color with a small, white head. Aroma was nutmeg, cloves, light cinnamon. Sweet potato/yam notes. Light sweetness, some earthy notes. Pretty tasty.

Draft to taster in a flight at Cappy's. Pours a clear dark golden/light amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted yams, caramel, mild spices, sweet malts, a hint of marshmallow, cinnamon, ginger, ok but not something I would go out of my way for.

12 ounce can poured into a pint glass. The beer is a hazy copper with a white head of foam. The aroma has strong ginger and nutmeg. Cinnamon and clove are noticeably there, but not as assertive. Doughy character in the finish. Bigger body and medium carbonation.

Draft to taster at Cappy's listed as with marshmallow, pour clear dark gold with thin white head. Nose roasted yam, nutmeg, light cinnamon. Taste sweet and spicy up front, candied yams, pie filling spice, but more along clove and nutmeg, mace. Aftertaste of roasted vegetables.

9/07/2017 (12 fl oz can): Aroma of cinnamon, clove, and caramelized malts/vegetable; hazy orange-bronze color, no lasting head; caramelized malt and sweet potato, dusty spices: cinnamon, clove, hint of ginger, metallic, stronger in the finish along with some alcohol; medium body, smooth; quite good and a bit different than the usual pumpkin, good seasonal offering.

Can from The Anderson’s Columbus. Pours light brown with no head. Doesn’t leave much lacing. Has a fair amount of sweet potato and spice rack on nose and tongue. Finished clean. Not bad for style.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8164) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 14, 2016
Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a dark amber color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty with yam, cinnamon and caramel notes. The flavor was sweet with yam, cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, bread and caramel. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Well done.
